Cliff Jordan | Lead Pastor
Apart from salvation, Cliff’s greatest blessing in life is his family. He has been married to April since 2003 and they have three kids: Walker, Ashlyn, and Silas. They love having family night together, going camping and traveling in general.
Cliff was raised in a Christian home and at an early age confessed his need of a Savior and trusted Jesus. The journey from that point has had many highs and lows. In his late teens he began wrestling with what it meant to fulfill God’s calling for his life. For him, that meant being a pastor. He loves studying and proclaiming the truth of God’s Word, leading people into a deeper understanding of God and showing how the Gospel applies to all of life. Cliff is convinced that what people need is a clearer more accurate picture of the greatness of Jesus, not a list of “do better’s” and “do more’s.” When people are captivated by the glory of Jesus, lives begin to change. It is the difference between trying to change behaviors, which on affects the surface, and changing hearts from the inside out.
Ken Sorrell | Pastor of Discipleship
Ken and his wife, Patti, have been married since 1978 and have two adult children, Katie and Eric. Both now are married with their own kids. Binge watching old TV shows and trying new restaurants are two of their favorite activities. Patti also enjoys reading while Ken is an amateur chef.
Ken was raised in a Christian home by parents and a church family that helped him understand his need for salvation that only comes from repentance of sin and placing his trust in Jesus Christ. As he was being discipled in his late teens, he sensed God’s call into a ministry that lead him and Patti to serve churches through Christian education, discipleship, and administration. His passion was for new believers, as well as those who had attended church for many years, to know more about what the Bible teaches, live as a disciple of Jesus, and do all that Christ commanded his disciples to do. This passion also took Ken and his family overseas for more than 20 years and in four countries as international missionaries. His desire is that everyone has the opportunity to hear, understand and respond to the Good News of the gospel, be gathered with other believers to grow and mature in their faith.
